The best thing of this hostel - is location. You stay in the center and near underground. Rooms are situated in underfloor, so you haven't windows, there is no kitchen, only small fridge, table. Good place to stay for a couple of nights.

No fork on the kitchen and no real table to eat
We had water under our basin
The bed sheet were old (there was some hole in it) and a bit to small for the bed
There is noise all the time and you can hear people in the next room.
The room is humid because there is no windows and no ventillation (juste in the bathroom but the air is expelled into the room where the bed is)
When we wanted to take our bag that we let at the bar, there were no one and the door was close.

Good location
The staff is kind and helpful
L'équipe est gentille et aide quand il y a un problème
It is possible to let the bag behing the bar after the check out
The room was clean (but not under the bed)
Priviate bathroom
Free Wifi
Great value for money

It was rather laud becouse of sounds both from the outside and from the corridor.

Good place to stay for this price for a short time. Nearby to the city center, room was spacious with a large windows. Nice staff with a very good level of English. It was possible to leave lagguage untill our bus arrived.

- Bad wi-fi in the basement
- A towel for extra 1 euro (though the accomodation itself is so cheap that I guess it's normal to ask extra price for everything)

- I really liked the location - in the downtown, perfect for walking to the very center. It's also located next to beautiful Raday street, there're lots of nice restaurants, including the only restaurant in Budapest with a Michelin star, Costes (yes, you can save money on accomodation and go to a fancy restaurant:))
- The staff was nice and helped me with a budget-friendly transfer to airport.
- The room was small but nice and it had separate bathroom, which is rare thing in the low-budget hostels. Perfect for having several hous of sleep. You just won't spend much time in your room in this beautiful city!

This is now called 'BP Art Hostel'.

Positives - The hostel is really cheap and the location was within walking distance or had easy access from public transport. The staff were pretty friendly and helped us with printing boarding passes out.

Negatives - the lobby smelled strongly of smoke (our room didn't though) and the bed was pretty uncomfortable.

I would recommend as it is good value for money but don't expect great services as it is so cheap!

(+)
Cozy and modern hotel, situated in the center. Very welcoming and helping stuff.

Clean comfortable beds, wifi worked fine.
Close to metro line so the public communication was great.

Tourist attractions were very close, everything by walking distance. Nice girl gave us city map for free.

Bathroom located in the room so there was no problem with sharing.

(-)
No window in the room, it was situated in basement which was cnfirmed during booking but the biggest problem was ventilation - the tube which was going above our bed and the noise was very uncomfortable and hard to manage especially during the night when we tried to sleep but couldn't.

( - )the rooms windows are next to the street so expect some noise.
its not a place to meet a lot of fellow travelers as it is more like a big flat.
the kitchen could be improved with some pans/cooking equipment.
the hostel owns a bar downstairs which can be loud until 2am during the weekend.

(+ ) the location is great, walking distance to the center but also surrounded with many cheap/good bars and restaurants.
you can get a private room for two for the price of a dorm in similar hostels in Budapest.
the size of the room is very good and so was the cleaning of common spaces.
free wifi and kitchen.
the beds are hard which I like but might be a minus for some.

In conclusion, if you are travelling as a couple and/or want some privacy this is a great place.
